The property provides the best base for exploring everything the city has to offer, and will leave you feeling like a Sydney-sider in no time! The location is ideal, being close enough to the action that is Kings Cross, but on a residential street away from the hustle and bustle to ensure you get some rest & relaxation.
The property is set in a traditional townhouse style with only 90 beds. Undoubtedly one of the best zen spots in the hostel is the incredible rooftop which has even been the place for marriage proposals and TV commercials! On the lower levels, there are designer bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen & a spacious dining area. Head down to the basement with the newly renovated TV room, complete with hammocks, a pool table, reading corner & FIFA Gaming Area. We look forward to welcoming you to the Mad Monkey Family!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE
- We are an international youth hostel. A valid international passport must be shown on check in.
- We are a strictly 18+ property. Our dorm rooms are recommended for people ages 18-35. If you are over the age of 35 we would advise booking a private room for your own comfort.
- Check-in after 2pm and check-out is before 10am. Free luggage storage and full use of facilities are available prior to check in and after check out.
- Reception hours are 8am to 8pm.
- If checking in after 8pm, please contact the night manager on 02-9331-0520 when you arrive and you will be shown to your room. Please then complete check in the following morning.
- If checking out prior to 8am, please organise an early check out with reception the night before.
- Any no shows or cancellations within 24 hours of arrival will be charged the first nights accommodation.
- All bookings between 23rd December and 2nd January are NON-REFUNDABLE and are subject to a 10 night minimum stay. Payment will be processed within 72 hours of booking and if the card cannot be charged then your booking will be cancelled. Please also note that our reception will be closed to arrival and departures between 23rd December and 2nd January: no check-ins or outs will be allowed during this time. If your booking contains a check in/out scheduled for those dates then it will be subject to immediate cancellation.
- Guests who are already in house and paid are able to cancel up to 48 hours in advance to receive a refund for the remaining nights on the reservation
