Reception hours | daily 9am – 5pm

If arriving at the airport you can either book a taxi or an Uber. If you go by train please get off at the Central train station and it will only be a 15 minute walk to the hostel.

We understand we are now in the 21st century & WiFi is a complete necessity. Whether you need to Facetime home, upload photos of your adventures, stream videos or having a cheeky Facebook stalk of that guy you met the other night, Mad Monkey has you covered with completely FREE unlimited & high speed WiFi throughout the hostel. Mad Monkey partners with the best local gyms to give our guests access to help maintain your health & wellbeing – because it’s pretty important. Anytime Fitness Glebe has the latest fitness equipment & is just a 5minute walk from the hostel. Collect a pass from reception between 9am – 5pm & you can go work out for 2hrs a day – completely FREE!

Offering 4, 6 and 8 bed dorms. Female Only options available. Dorm rooms are a great way to meet other like-minded travellers. Our dorm rooms include all the necessities & more – with a reading light & powerpoint at every bed, air-conditioning, unlimited wifi access, top quality mattresses & linen, as well as large, sturdy & secure lockers, with hanging rack in every locker. We do ask all guests to bring their own padlocks for security reasons.

Private Doubles & Twin Available. All our rooms are kitted out with air-conditioning, hotel standard mattresses & high quality linen. Our deluxe flashpacker style is carried out in our private room to ensure our guests have the best night’s sleep.

Is your bag starting to get a bit smelly? Think it’s time for a wash? Well Mad Monkey has got first class laundry facilities on site with top range commercial washers & dryers – $4 for a wash or dry.

Laundry powder is available for purchase at reception. No excuse to re-wear that shirt for the 5th day in a row. Ironing board & iron also available if you’re worried about those pesky creases.

What better way to feel like you are on holiday than to relax by the pool, catching some rays. At Mad Monkey, we’re lucky enough to have the beautiful Victoria Park opposite with great pool facilities, perfect for monkeying around with new hostel friends!
